    Have you read our FAQs?

We may have answered your question already!

Note that we no longer offer waiver training. Here are a few commonly ask questions:

Do you offer DATA-2000 qualifying buprenorphine training?

Not anymore. The current activities are CE/CME only. However, we did offer DATA-2000 qualifying training until April 14, 2019. After that date, we no longer offered an official training activity that satisfied the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) requirement. The 8-hour DATA-2000 training activity is the training currently needed to qualify for a waiver to treat over 30 patients at the same time. The 8-hour training is no longer needed to qualify for a waiver to treat 30 or fewer patients.

Do you offer waiver-qualifying buprenorphine training for NPs and PAs?

Clinical Tools, Inc. no longer offers training (as of April 14, 2019) that satisfied the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) requirement for a waiver-qualifying training activity, which is currently required to treat more than 30 patients at the same time. If you completed our training prior to that date, please review the current waiver guidelines on how to proceed. We are happy to help you navigate.
